Buses between Riga and Bauska run almost hourly in both directions from 7:00 in the morning until 23:00, and the journey takes about 1 hour 10 minutes. From Bauska, the bus to Likverteni takes 15 minutes.
Gravas farm is 70 km from Riga. Follow the A7 to the left-hand junction signposted "Skaistkalne" (0.8 km before the Bauska town sign). Turn left there and continue to the end of the street, then turn left again onto Mēmeles iela. Keep straight on the paved road for about 6 km until the forest begins on the right and you see the "Likverteni" bus stop. Gravas is on the left, directly opposite the point where the forest starts.
Gravas farm is 8 km from Bauska. From Kalna iela in Bauska, cross the Mēmele river and turn right at the next junction onto Draudzības iela. Where that street ends, turn right and continue to the junction with Mēmeles iela, then turn left. From there follow the paved road for about 6 km until the forest begins on the right and you see the "Likverteni" bus stop. Gravas is on the left, directly opposite the point where the forest starts.
The drive takes about 1 hour.
Near Bauska we recommend three palaces: Rundāle Palace, Bauska Castle and Mežotne Palace. Bauska also has a motor museum, and the castle mound is a lovely walk around Bauska Castle, set between the Mēmele and Mūsa rivers where the Lielupe begins.
Bauska has several places to eat, including Aveņi, Rātslaukums, Taverna and the restaurant Mūza.
Ideally your own towel. We provide a sauna hat, slippers and a bathrobe, and a towel too if you forgot yours :)
It depends on the number of people. A ritual for one person takes up to 3.5 hours; for two people up to 5 hours.
A ritual can be booked for the daytime or the evening, starting no later than 19:00. The arrival time is agreed when you book.
If you are more than an hour late, the sauna master has the right to cancel the reservation.
No. The guesthouse and the sauna are reserved for you alone.
Heating the sauna is not included in the guesthouse rental price.
Yes, the guesthouse is heated in the cold season.
No deposit is required, but an advance payment for the reservation may be requested.
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out by 11:00 the next day. Other times can be arranged individually.
There is no time limit. The length depends on the number of players and the number of balls.
Comfortable shoes and clothes. In the warm season we recommend thin clothing, since you wear overalls on top.
